"Dear Music Lovers,

I invite you to a concert at Sudbury Quaker Meeting House packed with exuberance, rhetorical flourishes, melody, virtuosity and humour as the Gainsborough Collective explores the world of gesture in Italian music from 1600 to the 20th century.
Welcoming virtuosi Hannah Parry on recorder and Paula Chateauneuf on theorbo , the programme will feature sonatas by Corelli, Castello, Stradella and Fontana, with solo jewels including Luciano Berio spotlighting the vivid palette of colours these instruments embody.
Come to nurture your musical and historical curiosity, we would love to see you there.

After the concert, there will be a drinks party at the Secret Garden with a glass of Italian wine, there will be an Italian menu if you would like to book a table for dinner (here).
With very best wishes for a new year
Natasha."
